Outbound Compliance Policy

Version: slsbmb-ai-legal-2026-10-17b
Effective date: 17 October 2026

You authorise every campaign sent on your behalf through SLSBMB AI and are responsible for its purpose, audience, content and lawful use. This policy is part of the Terms of Service and owns the buyer-responsibility terms that other SLSBMB documents refer to.

1. Your campaign mandate

As between you and SLSBMB, you commission and authorise each campaign and are responsible for its messages as the sender and, where applicable, advertiser. SLSBMB AI provides software, AI processing and infrastructure to carry out the campaigns you commission. You determine the business purpose and authorise the offer, target criteria, jurisdictions, sender identities and campaign instructions. This mandate includes the automated research, drafting, contact selection, sending and reply handling described in your purchased service. You are responsible for the campaign and its compliance, including when you elect not to inspect every generated message before sending. The sending authorisation and review/pause controls are described in section 8 of the Terms of Service.

SLSBMB does not act as your legal adviser, compliance adviser or insurer. Service automation and technical checks do not certify lawful outreach or transfer your campaign responsibilities to us. Personal-data processing follows the Data Processing Terms; non-excludable liabilities are preserved by section 16 of the Terms.

2. What you must ensure

Before and while your campaigns run, you must ensure, in every country where you or your recipients are located, that:

The laws that may apply include the US CAN-SPAM Act, the EU and UK GDPR, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and EU ePrivacy rules, Canada's anti-spam law, Australia's Spam Act, and Hong Kong's Unsolicited Electronic Messages Ordinance and Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Requirements differ by country and recipient type. A public business address, a verified email or a GDPR legitimate-interest assessment does not automatically permit unsolicited email. For example, German email marketing generally requires prior express consent subject to the limited existing-customer exception; UK corporate subscribers and sole traders are treated differently. This is not a worldwide legal clearance. Obtain advice for the actual campaign where needed.

Privacy information for recipients

Where applicable law requires it, you must provide the privacy information for your processing within the required time, including any earlier first communication or disclosure deadline. Receiving data through a processor, viewing a preview, buying a Contact Pack or later exporting it does not by itself remove or restart that obligation. You must establish any exception you rely on and retain its basis.

A short privacy line in an otherwise lawful first email can link to your complete notice if that email is sent in time. An unsubscribe link alone is not the full notice; a privacy notice does not provide permission to send marketing. When the deadline falls earlier or no campaign email will be sent, arrange timely provision separately. The contact privacy guide and templates help you prepare this information; they do not assess your legal basis or certify compliance. SLSBMB remains responsible for notices for its own controller activities.

3. Review and control

Campaign emails are prepared by AI from your confirmed brief and published playbook and are sent automatically, without approval of each message. You must review your playbook, campaigns and replies in your workspace and pause any campaign you do not want sent. You can pause or resume future campaign sending in your workspace. Pausing cannot recall a message already submitted for delivery.

4. What SLSBMB's tools do, and what they do not do

SLSBMB AI places your footer identity and an unsubscribe mechanism in campaign emails, paces sending, suppresses addresses that ask not to be contacted, respond with hostility or hard-bounce (across every SLSBMB AI workspace), and runs technical launch checks. These tools protect our infrastructure and recipients. They are not a legal review or certification of your campaign, audience, claims or permissions. You remain responsible for establishing those facts and for reporting corrections. We remain responsible for operating our service and performing our own legal duties.

5. Our right to stop campaigns

We may refuse, pause, throttle or stop any campaign, mailbox or workspace at any time and without liability if we believe it creates legal, complaint, deliverability, blocklisting, provider, sanctions or reputation risk. Amounts paid remain subject to the Refund, Cancellation and Suspension Policy.

6. Claims and costs

You handle and pay for the defence of claims against you arising from your campaigns. SLSBMB does not promise to defend or reimburse you. Claims that also affect SLSBMB or other Protected Persons are governed by section 17 of the Terms of Service, including your duty to defend, indemnify and pay covered costs. The exclusions, aggregate liability cap, mandatory exceptions and dispute terms in those Terms apply. Do not admit liability on our behalf or purport to bind us to a settlement without our express written agreement.
